Thought it would be fun to share what rituals and preparations I do before any sort of performance.

One, because my gifting comes from God, I spend a bit of time in prayer, reading the Bible and a quite time of worship.

Second, I conduct myself through a vigorous vocal warm up and meditation to release tensions.

Third I have some practice, skimming through the pieces that I’ll be performing.

Fourth I have a pamper, take a long shower and steam my throat,

Fifth is getting dressed and applying make up, then lunch.

Sixth head out to the venue or studio by bus and train, listen to some music, or weather permitting, grab a cab to the train station.

Seventh, on the train further meditation and prayer.

Eighth, get to the venue nice and early to relax, shake off the excess stress from the journey. Meditate more and play some Carole King, to prepare.

Nineth, do your thing you do best!

Ten, breathe and chill in the venue bar, relax!
